IN THE STUDIO

I have always loved working in recording studios since the first time I was invited to a session (a long time ago). I have always had a small recording setup and have expanded and contracted it over the years. My work with New York Horns and our studio NYH Studios led me to hone the craft of recording and engineering and also led to my having more gear than a one bedroom apartment can hold!

I can write, arrange and produce tracks for you in any number of styles as well as laying down horn parts – anything from a solo saxophone or flute track, to a full big band! With my business partner and trumpet playing alter ego, Chris Anderson, we can cover just about anything you need in the horn section department. Plus, living and working in New York City gives me access to the best musicians on the planet to record for your project…
